The Blue Willow Way – Horlicks Quarter Slough

Pav Holman and Yvonne Martin are the Managing Directors of Blue Willow Day Nursery. We are working mums and have worked for many years developing nursery settings that we are passionate and proud of. Our 3rd nursery at Horlicks will incorporate the values we have developed over the years, with a unique twist: urban environments and wellbeing. We are looking forward to working with the residents at Horlicks Quarter and the wider community.

Blue Willow – Horlicks Quarter is a full Day Care setting open from 8.00am-6.00pm*. We offer private places from birth – 5 years. Sessions are either full days, 8.00am-6.00pm, or half days 8.00am-1.00pm or 1.00pm-6.00pm.

*Extended hours are available and can be booked additionally – 7.00am-7.00pm

 Eligible 15 hour funding is available from 9months – 4 years.

Eligible 30 hour funding is available for 3 & 4 year olds. Please email us for more information.

Supporting wellbeing and urban lifestyles

Blue Willow will offer a beautiful setting for children, that promotes wellbeing for busy urban lifestyles. The style of interior design draws inspiration from urban environments, particularly the aesthetics of city life. Our nursery offers something different to consider when thinking about childcare. You are welcome to visit as many times as you would like until you are sure we are the right setting for your child.

The Blue Willow Way – Our Core Values

Our background as childminders before opening our nurseries has influenced the type of nursery environments we offer. We have visited lots of nurseries over the years and notice children are often split into different rooms according to age and rarely mix throughout the day. Outdoor play can be limited to set times and equipment can be what you would typically expect to see in nurseries.

We have experience of childcare delivery being in the home with children of different ages being together all day, engaging and learning from each other. Children being involved in everyday tasks such as preparing meals and going shopping. We have combined our childminding practices with nursery environments and have created Blue Willow.

At Horlicks Quarter, we will continue to deliver these concepts but with urban living and wellbeing in mind.
